Halloween Twenty Thirteen

Halloween was hosted by our dearest friends, the Haley's this year. They had a few couples over for tamales and other festive food, day of the dead themed of course! All arrived in costume; photo booth was first, then we feasted and roasted marshmallows by the fire. It was a great way to spend the evening. I was supposed to be a leopard beanie baby, but i got lazy and went as just a leopard. To make the situation more ridiculous I was wearing an orthopedic boot on one foot because I had hurt my foot at work earlier that week. My husband was a sight, also a lazy costumer this year, an old school ball player of some team id never hear of... (In his defense I was supposed to have ordered his costume a couple months prior, but didn't. So it didn't come in time.) Here's some photos from our good time.

Interiors Designed+Shayna Hawkins

Last night I photographed a great designer friend of mine, Shayna that I have known since high school. We took her professional photos for her website and other social medias. Shayna loves anything antique or European, especially if its something she can put her own flair into. She runs a full service interior design firm, and has her own booth where she sells antiques she has custom painted or refurbished.

IT'S A . . . WISE!!!

Last night my cousin/best friend had her gender reveal party to tell the family what she was having. I got to find out earlier in the week in exchange for being the event photographer :) Obviously, I gladly accepted this offer being the eager Auntie that couldn't wait for the good news!

She planned a voting booth and we all got to spray silly string at the future parents to be, the color that came out would indicate the baby's gender. What a special night and special way for us to all find out SHE IS HAVING A BOY!!!  Bring on the Bowties!

Roseborough Wedding

Congrats to the now newlyweds, Cody and Rhiannon! They tied the knot in a beautiful historic church in Galveston, Texas, The Lyceum. I worked with my best photo friend J. Lake Photography on this wedding. It was a blast being apart of yall's special day to record the memories of your first day as husband and wife. Best of luck in your marriage!
